If I were a cop, the woman in the Lexus would be at the absolute bottom of my priority list of people to look for

The woman driving the Lexus is being sought. If they find her, they should give her a medal. This is exactly what citizens should do in this situation.
To: SauronOfMordor
I suspect the police may have added a furtive wink, when they said they were seeking her. More likely, they have stuck a piece of paper deep in a remote file cabinet, dutifully stating that she is being sought, and haven't the slightest intention of making any effort in that direction.

I knew a one-eyed setter named 'Lucky', and a 3 legged poodle named 'Jet'.
To: Cagey
Well, the police can't very well charge her with leaving the scene of an accident. She did it on purpose.

Welcome to the exciting and high paying field of crime. Did this guy take the home study course, or did he learn his tactics at night school? They also nabbed another man, who may have had nothing to do with the melee but was spotted running from the scene.Who wouldn't have been running from that scene.

What do you suppose a woman, alone, at 2:30 in the morning, in downtown Milwaukee, driving a Lexus, does for a living?

They also nabbed another man, who may have had nothing to do with the melee but was spotted running from the scene. He was supposed to stick around and watch?

Furthermore, she apparently knew the victim, who was also on the street. Hmmm....
