STEVENSVILLE, Md. -- Maryland gubernatorial candidate Doug Duncan has at least one vote.
He performed the Heimlich maneuver on a supporter who choked on a chicken sandwich during a campaign lunch stop over the weekend.
Queen Anne's County Commissioner Gene Ransom got a bite of his meal stuck in his throat. Duncan jumped up and thrust his fists into the commissioner's gut three times and out it popped.
Ransom said it was a terrifying experience.
Duncan's visit was part of his tour of every county in the state. Duncan, a Democrat, announced his bid for governor last week.
You said it! ;)
Well, he is a Democrat. They're into that sort of thing.
Yeah, but he just lost the entire PETA vote.
After all, it was a chicken getting it's last revenge!

Best fried chicken around! Strouds, in Kansas City!

I'll admit it. I've actually voted for Duncan in the past. He's done a pretty good job running my county. Plus, we republicans never put up anyone who has a prayer of beating him.
Very nice. And it does pay to advertise! ;-)
