VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- Tonya Harding tussled in her home with a man she described as her boyfriend, prompting an emergency call by the figure skater-turned-boxer and an arrest of the man.
Christopher Nolan was charged with assault and pleaded not guilty Monday. He told deputies Harding threw him down and bit his finger when he said she had too much to drink on Sunday. The 27-year-old Nolan was ordered to stay away from Harding and to avoid alcohol.

Evidently you haven't seen a recent picture of her.

Steroids? I was thinking more along the lines of super-sized combos from the local burger joint, but Tonya now looks too much like a member of the Cold War-era East German women's swimming team to dismiss the possibility of steroid use.

I guess I shouldn't. I'm happy having that picture as my mental image of Oksana.

Her story is sad.
You're right. Perhaps we've been a bit too hard on her. Perhaps she can get it together somehow...

I was in Portland about 6 years ago on business and happened to catch Harding on a local version of the morning talk shows (perhaps it was "Good Morning Portland"). Harding was elegantly attired, appeared attractive and spoke reasonably well. I thought - jeez, she's got an image consultant at last. Apparently not. She is heading for an unfortunate end, in prison, killed in a skirmish like this one, or something equally bad. I usually can see humor in just about anything - but she is simply pathetic.

Tonya looks hot! Wow! You say she's into leather? Anyone know how I could get in touch (pun intended) with her?

Exactly. She had so much potential if it weren't for greed. Instead she chose the low road of white trash.

Looks like she would no longer need a lead pipe to smash Nancy Kerrigan's knee. Looks like she can bend a lead pipe over her own knee.
Frightening.
