Their attempt to destroy a human being is despicable.

Nobody has an inalienable right to sit on the Supreme Court. This was a lousy nomination. She is not qualified for the job, and she shows many signs of being a liberal. I know that doesn't bother you, because you are a liberal too. But it bothers us.

We have no desire to destroy Harriet Miers. We never even heard of her until Bush tried to pull a fast one on us. She is welcome to return to her Texas law firm and continue getting ahead in the world. She is not welcome to sit on the court and help her fellow liberals destroy our country.

You're doing it, Cicero. You and your arch-conservatives don't give a damn what happens to people, as long as you get your way.

If she's defeated, she will likely stay on in the White House. Whether you like it or not.
