Roll Call ^ | 10/25/05

Anticipating that indictments could come down against senior White House officials this week, House Democratic leaders have spent recent days devising a Caucus-wide plan to further highlight GOP ethical missteps and national security compromises.

Not surprising. The amount of drool coming off of the Democrats can cause severe flooding.

Local elections are next week and in the past, I have not tended to vote in them. We have an ineffectual DA (Republican) with a Dem running against her who has a better resume. I really don't know anything about these individuals. But after the Ronnie Earle affair, I will probably never again for a Dem DA. And I am going to vote next week.

This is going to be a bad day for the GOP if indictments are handed down.

The Dems still don't have any ideas of their own, but they sure are good are criticism!

Oy vey!

I'm sure the Republicans in Washington from the legislative and executive branches are prepared to launch a full-frontal defense of conservative ideas, just like the 'rats all came to defend their perjuring liar President.

Right.

The Dems announced their "GOP is corrupt" strategy something like a year ago. This is so transparent.

Gosh, I can't wait until Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy come out and remind everyone about how Democrats have stood in chambers and outed actual operatives, sparking the law that they desire to use against the White House in an inappropriate manner.

I'm starting to think that Rove's genius is just getting Republicans to shut up long enough for Democrats to put their foot in their mouthes.

This is different. When Fitzmas day arrives, the Dems will be out in full force demanding that GWB and Cheney account for what they knew and when they knew it.

The irritating thing is that the Stupid Party appears poised to fall right into it despite the advance warning.

It would be interesting to see how our elected officials spend their time.

Personally, I am paid on commission, if I am reading on FR, or working on personal gain, I don't get paid.

How many man hours have been spent on this?

Funny you should say that, in November we are having local elections in my town also. Each election I always cast a vote for a democrat as a member of the tax appeal board becasue he's a good guy and I've known him and his family all my life. In the past 2 elections although I have voted for the Rebulican for 1st Selectman I have split my vote and also voted for a democrat for a seat on the board of selectmen. Again I've knon this person for a long time and she is a good person.

This year I'm simply not going to do it. I will not cast my vote for a democrat even though these are local, non-impactful positions and I think these are good people. But, sorry to say I now believe the democrat party is a criminal enterprise and do not hold the best interest of Americans. These 2 individuals in my view no longer deserve my vote as they are members, albeit fairly innocently, if this enterprise. If they want my vote they can re-register as Independants period.

I hope the LSM and the demo/socialts get the surprise of their lives in 2006-2008 when they find out that no matter how pissed we get over the republicans lack of ba... or Bush's mistep here or there we will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever support the party of treason.

If memory serves me correctly, from a previously televised C-Span show, the Democrats tout that the future Democratic leadership is in the State Attorney Generals. All of us should take a look to see what ours look like and get the picture of the promise of America from their perspective.

I would expect that the President and Vice-President are too busy with a war, with enacting the President's agenda items to be involved in cheap gossip to "out" anyone. And, that "one" was not even an agent for years. Was also able to appear in a national magazine, and had outed herself as all Washington knew.

This is purely an attempt to bring down this administration by those desperate for power. They cannot get power any way but through lies, corruption and cheating as we saw in the elections. So, this administration and the taxpayers have to pay for their stupid attacks.

Again, they have no ideas, no love for this country. They are able only to criticize, to set up people, to plot and plan with the media to bring down a president.

Now, just why would I vote to put such ineffective people into office. I prefer the ones sticking to the business of running this country as effectively as possible - not the cheap mudslinging gossip plotters.

Very well explained. Many years ago, I used to be a dem. I had to change my party affiliation when I began to notice the problem with the party. For me, it was the character of their presidential candidates and their platform. But change I did, even though I still hold dear some of the concerns that led me to being a dem in the first place. I can't in all good conscience vote for one of them. If locals want my vote and they're decent people, they need to change parties.
