Here is the text of Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan's
statement on President Bush selecting Ben Bernanke to be the next chief of the central bank:
"The president has made a distinguished appointment in Ben Bernanke. Ben comes with superb academic credentials and important insights into the ways our economy functions. I have no doubt that he will be a credit to the nation as chairman of the Federal Reserve Board."

Greenspan is not a hard act to follow IMO. Despite the accolades I think he's done a lousy job and I look forward to not having to listen to the arrogant droning he enjoys inflicting on his captive audiences. Wish the replacement was today.

"W" displays genius and nominates Roberts for SCOTUS
"W" commits a colossal F/U and nominates Miers for SCOTUS
"W" displays genius and nominates Bernanke as Fed Chairman
Does the guy that puts out "W's" medications go on periodic vacations? Does Laura cut "W" off periodically? Is "W's" putting any more consistent than this?
