Sounds like they are either getting better at smuggling, or that the market is saturated. The need to check the street price. But I want to know how many smuggled weapons were actually used by criminals in shoot outs....

I would love to know that statistic as well. Particularly how many smuggled guns from the US are used in shoot outs.

I'd wager a large sum of money that not too many (from the US) are, otherwise it would be all over the media here if they found one that was. They love coming out blaming the US for their murder rate.

I suppose the problem with that question, is that it would involve not only catching criminals, but finding them guilty, and sentencing them.
