Under what condition are there warantless searches?
Threat of life and knowledge of an ongoing crime seems to be two I can think of. Those are pretty good reasons.

Warantless searches at roadblocks!
Try avoiding a checkpoint or refusing to answer questions and see what happens. So you like checkpoints as long as they don't inconvenience YOUR commute to work?
