Aww man. I was there in Andrew. It sucks. Stay away from windows!!! There will be LARGE things flying around, like entire sections of roof and big trees.
Just saw the shot of the tornado offshore. Guess you would call it a water spout - but never saw one that big. Scary.
That was a very wealthy address when I lived in Miami Springs.
What's with the cheap shutters?
Series, take care. Prayers for you and your family.
Many prayers for her... she didn't have a neighbor's house that was more up to stats? If she's like my aunt you could have a bunker right in front of her and she wouldn't go... stubborn.
It started last night, and it is on til further notice. It is for safety reasons mostly, but last September during Jeanne we had some Louts from Polk County sneak into Avon Park and pulled a smash and grab at a convenience store. Those fools did not realize there were others out in the Storm and they got nailed. These Rocket Scientists have the same mentality as someone that sneaks into a house that is tented and then dies from the Poisons.
Does it rain fish downwind from a waterspout?
Thank you for checking in. Good idea to get into your safe room. Take care, and please update us when you can. Godspeed.
If it gets tough... have grill, will eat.
I haven't had a chance to get out yet. But as soon as I do, I'll be able to give
a more informed report. I'll probably venture out in an hour or so..
Stay tuned...8^)
Anybody from Fort Lauderdale? Looks like they're gonna be worked over pretty bad. :-(
HA HA HA, thats great.."sneaks into a tented house."
Thats great, thanks
It's the 3 cats. She won't leave them.
I've offered for several years to rent an RV (hubby would drive) and come and get her and the cats and move them near us.
Thanks. When I come north on 31 and west on 74 to get back on I-75N I think I come close to where you are.
