Fitzgerald is worse than the week of 9/11?

... Right.

This is really frustrating. The Bush justice department and Robert Ray dropped the ball on Hillary . They have not reopened OKC. Sandy Burglar gets a slap on the wrist. Able Danger is just hanging in mid air. Yet, this non-event becomes significant.

Tom DeLay gets indicted, while Hillary's $1.6 million FEC fraud is ignored. It is a Bizarro world. The MSM must die soon if this nation is to be saved.

I find it hard to believe that Rove or Libby, while receiving the advice of top attorneys, could have committed perjury or obstructed justice in this investigation. They and their lawyers are too smart to make that mistake. On the other hand, I have to wonder why Fitzgerald needs a website if he's not going to indict anyone. So it looks like someone may be indicted, but I still doubt that it will be any top White House officials. That leaves people in the media and at the CIA. This week will be an interesting time...no doubt about it.

I'm with you, Doug. Any ideas? This is an attempt not just to hurt the President, but to cause serious harm to the nation. That's what they've wanted for some time now.

We have a president who wanted to set a different tone. He let the drunken lifeguard take credit for an education bill. Then we watched his outrageous attacks. We watched the president say nice things about Hillary. We watched her outrageous attacks. We watched the president put the rapist back in the spotlight for tsunami and Katrina relief. Then that traitorous bastard attacks his foreign policy and makes it more dangerous for our troops.

Their side plays hardball using grenades. Bush and his team are still in softball mode as if we can get along with those people.

The better question. Would President Bush be better off without Rove? Also he still has a lot to accomplish. Reform the UN, the CIA, The State Department, The FBI. Iraq War, Israel, N.K. When it comes to domestic issues, The Republicans in Congress still have to be elected so they will come up with bills to make them look good with the base. For the Dem's, Rush does his show with half his brain tied behind his back. So if they think Rove is the Presidents brain.

There was a time when the Bush cheerleaders and BushBots said the nonconfrontational governing style of the President was part of his overall "strategery". I guess that's now passe.

Fitzgerald is worse than the week of 9/11? ... Right.

...duh...remember, we're talking POLITICS here! In the week of 9/11, the nation was united behind the President. It could be argued it was the BEST week of his presidency.

This article isn't talking about worst tragedies. It's talking about the nuts-and-bolts POLITICAL game.

Feel the same frustration. I am not worried about Tom Delay. He is already on the offensive and will make his prosecutor pulp.

I hope the Whitehouse will get in-the-face to beat back at the Wilson fraud?

....duh...remember, we're talking POLITICS here!

So the most lethal terrorist attack in modern history was NOT potentially the worst week in the presidency in terms of the political ramifications of a president somehow allowing said attack to occur? You'll recall that the Democrats tried that crap for YEARS.

It's talking about the nuts-and-bolts POLITICAL game.

It's talking about an investigation which we know absolutely NOTHING about. How hard is this to understand? WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FITZGERALD'S INVESTIGATION. Last week was supposed to be the worst week in Bush's presidency. And the week before that. FOR THE EXACT SAME REASON.

Please, grow a brain.

I have said for years that Karl Rove isn't now nor ever was a genius. Let me take this opportunity to welcome many other people to the bandwagon.

If Rove were nearly as smart as people give him credit for being, he would have successfully managed the true story about Joe Wilson without putting his own neck -- and the reputation of the administration -- in jeopardy. If he is indicted, I won't miss him. And if he's the best the Bush Admin can do, they better get wear gas masks and hip boots around the West Wing; the you-know-what storm is just beginning.

What the White House needs is someone who knows how to get into the media's face and say, "You won't report the good news on your own, so here I am to tell you about it." For example, Lawrence Kudlow, the financial expert and CNBC host. He has constantly been on the case of Card, Rove, and McClellan for their refusal to be assertive about the Administration's accomplishments, always back on their heels and mumbling before the likes of Helen Thomas, Terry "Sweet Lips" Moran and David Gregory (except in the case of Harriet Miers, which had McClellan finally showing some righteous indignation -- too bad he didn't have a leg to stand on).

Listening to Kudlow as a guest on the Laura Ingraham show suggesting strategies for the Bush Admin is exhilarating and frustrating, since he knows of what he speaks, but you know that nobody who could make a difference will listen.

Maybe one good thing will come out of all this Plame-gate BS. The old quote: Friends come and go, but enemies accumulate. This White House will wake up one day soon after the MSM and Democrats have done everything to destroy this administration (not just attack but literally take down) and realize it is time to get serious about political offense.

...again...DUH!!! It happened less than 9 months into a new presidency. The nation was smarter than you are. It was not going to blame a new president for something that was obviously brewing under a previous regime.

...obviously, by your gender and your reasoning, you need to grow something else, LOL!!!

Don't forget that he started out the first week by covering up the looting of Air Force One and the vandalizing of the White House by the outgoing staff. This is the payback for being nice.

Wow. You think I actually believe 9/11 was a TRUE political clusterf***, rather than having had the potential to be one? And then you decide to throw an insult out? Okay. Let's go over this:

The point of this posted article is to whine and cry that Bush is going to have the worst week of his presidency, due to Fitzgerald's investigation. This overlooks two key points:

And here I thought the "Miers sucks! No, shut up!" crap was annoying.

Most people don't care if Karl Rove and/or Scooter Libby get indicted (if they even have a clue who they are).

They are busy getting ready for the holiday season, raising their family and paying taxes. It was different when Clinton was being impeached because Clinton was lying about having sex with an intern in the oval office, under oath, as President of the United States.

If the MSM, Democrats and/or liberal moon-bat kooks think this will harm President Bush they need to reassess.
