The girls are just mouthing the biases of their mother's family. I saw the story and it reminded me of stage mothers who dress up their youngsters in sickeningly cute outfits and and "ape" singing a song way out of their ability.

I willing to bet when these kids hit their teenage rebellion years they will reject mom's ideology and resent her control and humiliating them publicly .

Probably by having a child by the first black man she gets to know.
