"she submitted a 1999 report to the ABA's house of delegates that included recommendations to develop and establish an International Criminal Court"

If that proves to be true, that has to be the last straw on this nomination.

It's as if Bush is trying to force conservatives to the Constitution Party in 2008.

The ICC would be a disqualifier for me. I hate that treaty. And the fact that a Spanish judge issued an international arrest warrant (since quashed by grownups) for 3 American soldiers for a friendly fire incident in which they have already been cleared underscores the problem.

She needs to go.

I used to think GWB was more Michael Corleone. He now is obviously more Fredo Corelone.

He forced me in 2k4. Even though Im not happy about prayer in schools I could not go the libertarians because of Abortion. I knew he would flop um the nominations, though he did so well with Roberts I thought maybe I had been mistaken..

I read it somewhere else too. At the moment, I don't remember where, though.

I'm still half hoping that i'm asleep and the Miers nomination is nothing more than a bad dream. Lets hope I wake up to find a press conference on TV where Bush is nominating a well qualified conservative for the Supreme Court.
