Cuban Blood Boils

Here's something to get you all riled up for the weekend...

Join CODEPINK for New Year’s in Cuba December 27-January 2, 2006

Cuba is one of the most beautiful and fascinating countries on Earth—and George Bush says you can’t go there. Well, we’re going anyway, and we invite you to join us!

This New Year’s CODEPINK will be organizing a large group of fun-loving and freedom-loving Americans to break George Bush’s ban on travel to Cuba. Join co-founders Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans, together with Academy Award winning producer Paul Haggis, as we visit with farmers at their co-ops, doctors at their family clinics, dancers at the National Folklore Group, and young people at the ballpark. Don’t miss this historic chance to dance salsa, drink mojitos, and visit beautiful beaches—all while defending our constitutionalrights!!!

Hey, no trips to the gulags? No visits with dissidents? What about the Ladies in White, ladies?

The federal restrictions barring travel to Cuba are not only counterproductive and outmoded in this post-Cold War context, but also a violation of our constitutional freedom to travel.

Yes, because it's all about you, right Pinkies? Guess those women in Cuba that have to sell themselves for basic necessities will just have to wave at ya'll from afar? Unless, of course, you will be acquiring their services, ladies.

Protest Code Pink by writing and notifying law enforcement at this blatant effort to give succor to castro while drinking mojitos served on platters by castro's black Cuban slaves in Cuba!

Can we arrest them all at once?

Classic lefty bizarro world.

The brutal communist dictator is "freedom loving".

VIVA EL CUBA LIBRE!

I'm sure these Lefty trolls will get "the guided tour."

I also know some elderly folks in South Florida who want to kick their candy-asses.

Fine by me, as long as it's a one-way trip.

Go here to see the real Cuba, and Havana in particular.

Be sure to look at the photos of "Havana Today" and "the Myth about Castro's free healthcare"

It will make you sick!

LOL. Two of those butt-kickers are the parents of a friend of mine.

These clowns are going to be led around by their noses by CCPCC (Comite Central del Partido Comunista Cubano) appaRATchiks and get the guided tour of the Potemkin Village. I wish they'd let me show them around.

Dear Pinkies....

Go... and do not return...
IN fact.... don't let the screen door hit you on the way out...

Go kiss up to your fuehrer -- Fidel...
Make nicey-nice...

Send back lots of pix we can use in the upcoming US campaigns;
This will ensure that all of your bad ideas and questionable affliations get a lot of good exposure...

We will vote accordingly [against] the things you purport and perpetrate, and the candidates you support --

And... if you step outside of the boundaries of law -- there will be a lot of pleasure in seeing you dealt with...

Have a red-white-blue day...

I agree with you. Let them go, then upon return quaranteen
then and refuse admittance back into the country . They could
face a financial penalty of severl Thousands of dollar in order to be admitted. The penalty would discourage anyone else from anxiuosly visiting Cuba. Also confiscate their passports upon return. There is always a way to cause others to evaluate whether it is worth it or not. K2AFE - FL

I have been to Cuba. I was part of a group to examine the housing problem and how to better provide housing in Cuba.

The place is not to be believed and is worse than most Americans imagine.

1. Repression of thought and actions. We know this already, but since it is for "the good of the people" most liberals in this country embrace it.

2. Poverty is terrible. Similar to much of China.

3. Prostitution and crime are rampant. Just like Russia and China, the police are corrupt beyond anything we have in this country. Let's see - restrict wages to almost zero and .. surprise, surprise, many with power will increase their standard of living through payoffs, crime, etc.

4. The list can go on about how sick and twisted Cuba is, but I will stop with this point. Did the Cubans REALLY want improved housing? No. They wanted to say that they examined proposals, but none were acceptable. The government actually likes the people living in horrendous conditions (give them a taste of a better life and they might want more).

God, I hate liberals!

It's not W's ban. It's not even Nixon's ban. It's JFK's ban.

The brutal communist dictator is "freedom loving".

I'm always amused by the excuses leftists come up with in their attempts to explain why the "freedom loving" Castro doesn't allow Cubans to leave the island.

Castro will own this bunch.

I wonder if anyone had told them about the hidden cameras in the hotel rooms.

Or why his air force shot down a private plane that was just dropping leaflets.
