Dems Complain About DeLay's Smiling Mug Shot

(CNSNews.com) -- There it is, front and center on the Democratic National Committee's webpage: a full-color mug shot of Rep. Tom DeLay, not bad as mug shots go, with the caption, "DeLay Booked."
The Texas Republican is smiling, dressed in a suit and wearing his House pin. Unlike most mug shots, the photograph being circulated on the Internet does not include written information at the bottom, so it looks more like an ordinary snapshot than a mug shot.
That bothers many of the bloggers on the Democrat's "Kicking Ass" website.
Some complained that the official mug shot " doesn't look real -- no ID markings, no booking numbers, etc." Others wanted to see the profile shot.
"I want a copy of the warrent [sic] for the back of a t-shirt and his mug on the front," one Democrat wrote. Others indicated they'd like to wipe the smile off DeLay's face.
DeLay was fingerprinted and photographed at a Harris County, Tex., sheriff's office on Thursday, then released on $10,000 bond. He's scheduled to appear in an Austin courtroom on Friday to face charges of conspiracy and money laundering.
DeLay says he's the victim of a politically motivated prosecutor, Ronnie Earle, a Democrat who DeLay insists is out to get him.

Dear Whining Dems: Choke on it!
LOL! It even has a "Vote for Your Rat" link!
Not a bad idea!
Democrats for several years have tried to get DeLay's mug shot. During the 2004 elections they even used a made-up one!
I've always been impressed with how in your face democrat senators are and deperessed how Republican senators seem to always lack ba**s. Here's DeLay taking their best shots and still standing tall and laughing in their face. I didn't especially like him before, but that's a gutsy performance that takes a lot of character. He's turning into a Republican hero! If there is someone who should be supported by us, it is him. He is one of the reasons we are winning.
You're right. He looks better (thinner) in that pic than in any I've seen of him. This picture will become FAMOUS (or.. it already is).
""Were I Delay, I'd frame that photo in my office.
It turned out pretty nice!""
Agreed! Better than my sons Senior portrait! Poor Libs!
I think it ought to be used in campaign literature. Not just by DeLay, but in wide ranging RNC ads. I'd love to hear the moonbats reaction to seeing that picture in campaign materials! LOL!
His pix made my week.
My first thought was: Scrappleface....the Onion?
They cannot be series.
What Hosers!
You know -- "Get a Life, Dems!" what a sorry bunch -- I had a guy vomit his lib hatred at me yesterday at the gas pump at Costco. Regular gas was down to $2.72 (Northern CA) and I said (just being friendly), "Hey, did you ever think it would be a bargain to get gas at this price?"
He snarled (literally!) Just look who the president is!
Me: (Surprised) I LIKE President Bush! I think he's doing a great job! (all this with other people pumping gas and listening.)
Him: How could you? Sending young kids off to war! It's all about this (pointing to the pump), you know!
Me: No, it's not.
Him: (Further spewing out vomitous rhetoric of Bush-hatred.)
Me: You know, the great thing about America is that we can have our own opinions and I respect yours. The troops are fighting for that freedom.
Him: (more gnashing of the teeth, finishing up pumping gas and driving away.)
Me: Oh, well. (Smiling at the other people and shrugging my shoulders - feeling sorry for this sorry ol' schmuck.)
"I'm not dead."
"Yes, you are. Lie down!"
But I'm not dead!"
"Yes, you are. You just don't realize it yet. Lie Down!"
"No!"
"Yes! Lie Down!"
"Liberals complain about absolutely everything. That's one of their defining traits.
"
And one of the main reasons America doesn't buy what they are selling!
Beautiful.......... lol
"SpazRat" Award, 2005. Soons we shall learn the top-`Rat!
May I have the envelope, please?
(drumroll)
Incredible! The jury is deadlocked!
It says "They are all spastic." . . .
Me too. It's probably the best pic he's ever taken!
That's a great picture. LOL!
A 'mug shot' is public domain so it could sold on coffee cups and t-shirts.
...and all I got was this lousy t-shirt with a flattering picture
Hey! I like that...Dems Complain.Com
