050928-N-6967M-014 Goa, India (Sept. 28, 2005) - The Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Santa Fe (SS 763) pulls in to Goa, India marking the half-way point of Exercise Malabar 2005. Malabar is a joint Indian American exercise designed to bolster relations between our two countries and enable the two countries to work together against a common threat. This years exercise is the largest to date including two U.S. Destroyers, USS Nimitz and the submarine Santa Fe.
