teldon, I have actually left the Republican party because of the Rino's and the gutless wonders who call themselves our Congressmen and Senators. I am still a conservative, but if people ask me my party affiliation, I just tell them conservative independent. Is this wrong? Who knows. But *I* have just had enough of the sorry a$$ed excuses who supposedly represent me.

In fact capitalism/republicanism free enterprise/republicanism is the perfect ally in Christian thinking.

To ensure that the U.S. government carries out this plan so that it is "achievable" within five years, the CFR calls for supervision by a North American Advisory Council of "eminent persons from outside government . . . along the lines of the Bilderberg" conferences. Anyone who would advocate the end of our sovereignty, our Constitution or merge us with other countries are traitors. These Benedict Arnolds should be run out of the USA.

I read Bush had signed some kind of secret agreement with V. Fox at his ranch. Since I read this at a Moonbat site...I paid NO attention to it whatsoever. Besides, if it was secret how could anyone know anything about it. Unless Fox let out...then I heard an official in Mexico say something to the effect that soon we'd be all together anyway.
I still say something like this MUST be voted in by Americans. So if this illegal legislation is passed looks like the next stop would be the SC. Americans will NEVER STAND FOR THIS. I can't believe anyone in DC would be stupid enough to even try this type of nonsense anyway. They CAN'T GET AWAY WITH IT.

We may just be arguing semantics. My definition of capitalism is like Ayn Rand definition that takes it to mean something beyond simply economics to define an entire thinking that believes in the freedom of individuals. I cant think of a concise definition, but the idea that capital should be freely retained, freely allocated simply that men should be free to engage in commerce or not engage in commerce with whomever they desire as long of course that it is within the bounds of the law. It doesnt apply preference for big business or small business. If a business grows to become a large business because it successfully provides a product the consumer desires, so be it. But if it grows on the backs of taxpayers, which often happens when politics mixes with business, that is not desirable.

I have been outraged by everything the CFR says and does for years.
A new shock, however, is that the Canadian prime minister is selling out his country as well.
This document is radically at odds with the decades old "Canada first" and "Preserve Canada's culture" that have driven their politics.
This meeting was held in Ottawa--amazing.
(Ottawa is a beautiful city and well worth the visit, btw. You just have to try not to laugh at their version of political correctness that they spew during tours of parliament etal. You also have to try not to puke if you overhear the conversations of the socialist government officials at the next table in a restaurant.)

His response to the Roberts nomination speech is what got me. Basically Ted said the constitution is expendable otherwise, he wants an activist judge the tyranny of the common good trumps the constitution. And the fact Ted gives comfort to the enemy by continuing to cry about Abu Graib. For once Id like to hear a liberal senator get enraged about innocent captives having their heads sliced off by Islamist barbarians.

First Bush sent the Secty. of State down there the week after the election. Then there was the Crawford round. Powell and Rice have both pushed this and NAFTA,CAFTA,the FTA, S 2941 and various other RINO stealth bills will finish us off. Lou Dobbs talks about this stuff all the time.

Teddy's been selling us out since he got into office, starting with the 1965 Immigration Act. I really believe the man hates the United States because his brothers got murdered here.

On that trip I had to repeatedly remind my wife to keep her mouth shut. I told her I didn't want us to say anything that would let the lefties know they had enemies in their midst. :-)

Im not sure if you are half joking about Teds reasons or not; but Joseph Kennedy was no great role model either. Wasnt Joseph essentially a pacifist who moved heaven and earth to keep America out of World War II?
To: cgbg
You are actually rather fortunate. I'm curious how liberal bleeding hearts think? Whether they really believe their leftist drivel or just shovel it out for mass consumption.
To: Sam Gamgee
Wasnt Joseph essentially a pacifist who moved heaven and earth to keep America out of World War II? Joe Kennedy was a Hitler apologist and a bootlegger, not much of a role model. What I know about JFK is even though he was a liberal he at least had some patriotism about him and was a staunch anti-communist, the complete opposite of Teddy.

Comments?? Americans should be outraged.Yes, the few of us who have seen this slipping into our lives for the past few years are outraged. Most people still have no clue what's being planned and implemented. I just left a situation trying to explain some of this to a few people. None of them had a clue. I'm sure they think I'm daft. Then you have the 2% crowd who welcome it with open arms because they are invested in those companies who promote this madness.
Here's what I find most offensive. I did a search for "vincentefox" here on FR. That's an eyefull! How anyone considers Fox or Mexico as an "amigo" or would enter into these "assimilation" agreements is beyond me. While everyone was badmouthing France, look what our good neighbor was doing.

"You are full of it, and prove that it is easy for the left to divide and conquer Conservatives."Look dipstick, by now it is obvious to practically everyone with half a brain that the North American Union is now, and has been for some time, in the process of implementation by the stealth strategy called incrementalism.
"I am glad I do not have to go to war with you 'sunshine patriots'".
Similarly, we are delighted we don't have to go to war with the likes of you. We prefer conservatives.
"Your hate for President Bush is clouding your judgement."
Unlike your pathetic inability to understand what is really going on, janet does. Among your more obvious problems is that you refuse to acknowledge what by now has become entirely clear to everyone other than the terminally stupid, i.e., Bush is no conservative. And neither are you. Unless you consider being a GOP Big Tent RINO, liberal or moderate somehow qualifies you as a conservative. You don't make the cut. Real conservatives are more interested in principle than kissing the President's ring.
By the way, I know janetgreen. She is a loyal American conservative. You couldn't carry her shoes.
