Wasn’t Joseph essentially a pacifist who moved heaven and earth to keep America out of World War II? Joe Kennedy was a Hitler apologist and a bootlegger, not much of a role model. What I know about JFK is even though he was a liberal he at least had some patriotism about him and was a staunch anti-communist, the complete opposite of Teddy.
