Was on my way home and was listening to Curt Weldon speak about the Able Danger information some more. I thought it very important that he released the name of the staffer that did not let the Able Danger information go to the 9/11 Commission members. The staffer that interviewed (I think) Scott Philpot about the Atta information was one Dietrich Snell. Apparently, he is one of Gorelick's staffers. Curt Weldon wants to know why he did NOT let the information get to the rest of the commission members.
Sounds to me like Dietrich Snell has been involved in some serious CYA. Let's keep the pressure on. Maybe the man will turn.
"Yes, he seems to have his hands all over the place."
And he has good reason to prevent what he did or did not do back in the 90's from becoming public. Another person, along with Gorelick, who shouldn't have been on the Commission. While I'm at it, I'll throw in Hillary's friend and lawyer, Ben-Veniste.

You don't have to call him a traitor. He's just covering his butt and Clinton's.
"Dietrich Snell was no "staffer" on the 9/11 Commission. He was Senior Counsel and a team leader."
Let me see if I understand this. You pick a guy who was personally involved in terrorist investigations to be your Senior Counsel. There are all kinds of competent lawyers in Washington, even Republican ones, who have been counsel to committees. Does it not make sense not to pick one who has a personal interest in terrorist investigations? Or am I merely deluding myself into thinking that the Committee knew what it was doing?
Thanks for posting this link--I will save to read later.
The game of mutually assured destruction "Chicken", perfected during the Clinton years, is very obviously still ongoing in DC.
Anyone who hasn't read this article at FrontPage really needs to read it.

"I can't fathom why we're spending untold hours over the plame non affair when real crime is being committed right under our noses and no one outside bloggers and Freepers seems to care."
Are you serious?
"Congressman Weldon's entire statement should be publicized throughout the nation by every means available."
True, but what means have we?
"Personally, I do not believe it one iota. If we had a party that actually fought for what we have been fight for, for years, things would be happening. Even with the MSM burying and spinning every slimy thing the Dems (libs) have done, they could still be had by someone who has the ability to be heard, if those persons had the will to do so."
Your statement is well taken. Just remember, we fight the worldwide organized hard left (WOHL), the hiers to worldwide communism, which is now secondary.
They are masters of subversion and deception. Their MSM lies are no doubt obvious to you, but they are capable of much better. They deceive conservatives sometimes too.
"Anyone who hasn't read this article at FrontPage really needs to read it.
Well, that just pushed my blood pressure up a good twenty points.
I read stuff like that and I think the Republic is friggin' dead, and we are just mistaking its twitches for life."
Wow. Read as much as I could take...
But I disagree with your (understandable) conclusions. The FBI has been severely penetrated by the worldwide organized hard left (WOHL). So has the CIA.
But those are targets the Soviets (grandaddies of the WOHL) have been working on for many decades. Bush sent a clean up guy, Goss, into the CIA. He hasn't been driven out yet.
Rush Limbaugh today claims that Condi is doing a parallel cleanup in the State Department, another notoriously penetrated organ of US government.
But the Republic is not dead.
We conservatives are stronger than we have ever been.
We are waking up, looking around.
Our enemies are deadly.
But we are deadlier.
We are men. they are animals.
I believe we will win.
Take heart.
Remember, Hillary hired her.

Yes, I'm serious. Can you name a major news outlet following the Gorelik story or one following Hillary's violation of the campaign election law? They just don't care.
Thanks for the ping.
