Ummm. What the heck are you telling us? Maybe you could give everyone a hint as to what PSP is/means.

Are games available that lets me mud-wrestle Ann Colter?
Do you work at Sony?

Does anyone have any information as to how many XBox 360's are expected to be released in North America before Christmas?
Um Uh...good question.
I purchased a PSP about a month ago and was about to take it back when I finally go the software upgraded and the wireless internet working. I was at the store yesterday and there are now some 50 games and about 75 movies that you can buy for it.
The graphics are great, there is now a lot of after market products you can get from carrying packs to face plate covers to downloading songs, movies and video's from the internet.
The PSP is a combination of the ipod and the ipod video and you can purchase 1 GIG disks already from the store. I don't know if you can buy a UMB disk writer to attach to your PC.
I don't work for sony.
McDonalds announced last week that beginning next month they will offer free wireless to SONY/DS wireless users (I assume SONY/PSP supports the same wireless for gamers at their resturants so everyone can play each other in the multiple player games for free.

1.5m Xbox 360s to ship by year end, analysts agree 800,000 in North America, 400 to 500k in Europe, remainder to Japan
I still can't figure how to load a tape in my car's cassette player.
I'm trying to decide if I want to drag my girlfriend along to stand in line the night of release. If we each get one, I expect I could sell one on EBay and make enough profit to almost pay for the one I keep. Currently, people are selling the rights to the ones they've pre-ordered. One of the $399 version boxes is currently at $569, with two days of bidding left.
I'll wait for the 3090's to come out.
One for the Ping list.
Quick answer: You should probably go for it.
The last few years, the bidding on hot electronics items on e-bay gets insane around christmas time. IIRC, there will be a shipment on the 22nd and another shipment in December. Depending on the timing of that second shipment, it might be a good idea to have an auction ending on December 19th or 20th. With express shipping, the bidder will still be able to get it by Christmas, and with the auction ending just about the time that folks start getting really desperate...
Of course, if the second batch ships the week prior, that may not be a good idea. You may want to hit your local electronics retailer and see when that second batch is expected.
Just a note: The nerd news of the day was that Xbox 360 demo displays are starting to show up at Wal-Mart, if you want to check it out in person.
