He then drives to your house to find you dead. He calls 9-1-1 to report finding a dead body and not a sick person. Asks for the local coroner be sent to his location.

Sounds sort of like my friend's trip to the USSR in the 80's. After the tour bus stopped for "refreshments" in which all the tourists got to drink orange soda from a communal cup, the bus driver started the bus, drove for a mile or so and then pulled over and proceeded to read a book.
