You must have one of those new-fangled "double-barrelled" brousers.

...the Pentagon said such acts were forbidden and opened the criminal investigation...

There should be a criminal investigation. Sounds like someone forgot the lard.

Your time in Afghanistan is short. You attack and run away like women

...like women? Not American women.....

Did they stick apples in their mouths and twirl them around in a spit? That would've been a nice touch.

This is getting stupid. What we do to the enemy, as long we kill 'em, is the enemy's problem. We shouldn't worry about their "feelings" other than how we can better generate stark terror among 'em.

There was a time in history when a nation's newspapers would ridicule and lambast military leaders only if they lost a battle. In moments of victory, the press did not view their own nation's military or the incidents of battle as subject for derision. In moments of victory, rather, heros were made, parades and cheering and what not, with the newspapers leading the chorus.

Now a Western nation's press is as likely to hire foreign correspondents who view certainly that nation's soldiers and perhaps the entire nation as the enemy.

I don't know whether burning bodies and taunting the sons of pigs is right or wrong. I know that far worse has been done on battle fields. But I do know that I'm sick and tired of the press - whether the it's press in America, England or Australia - using the military to further their careers. I'm tired of the men and women defending us and our freedoms being the subjects of exposes on Dateline and 20/20 and all the rest.

These soldiers apparently observe good field sanitation rules and understand the need to cremate remains that have not been claimed by the next of kin.
When possible, the ashes should be recovered and placed in an empty Extra Hot Skinner's Pork Rinds container and shipped to the individual's home country if known.

"The Army has launched a criminal investigation following allegations that U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan burned the bodies of two dead Taliban fighters and used the charred corpses in a propaganda campaign against insurgent forces"... Where can we get a copy of the video?

Saw the tape on Special Report last night. Militarily effective, I'd say. Bad diplomacy. I don't know who's running the Army these days, but allowing a reporter to video tape this and providing him with the translated text is being a little too nice.

Sometimes, I just don't get Tony Snow. He, along with with one of Fox's mealy-mouth military advisors, just pre-judged the soldiers involved in the burning, while claiming not to, of course.

The whole segment made me sick. The military man was NOT on the side of our guys.

Unwilling to challenge his fellow employee, Tony couldn't figure out how our soldiers could be so "enraged" to do such a thing.

How do we know yet they did this out of "rage", Tony? Were you there?

This segment was preceded by an interview of David Drier who really strained his thinking cap trying to find a conservative organization the equivalent to the radical MoveOn gang of traitors. By golly, he DID come up with one.

Drier stated the closest he could come was the Swift Boat group because like MoveOn's single goal (which we all are aware of), the Swifties also had a "single issue", which I gather meant exposing Kerry.

I tuned out again for the umptieth time this year, having had enough of "Fox Liberal Weekends", a regular feature of the "We Report, You Tune Out" bull-chippie Fox regularly feeds us on Saturdays and Sundays.
