If this teen doesn't want to be searched the simple solution is stay the hell home, period.

According to John Edwards, this truly is Bush's Fault...
John could make her 'walk' given the right stem cell research lines that Bush is blocking!!! /sarc

Sympathy for her condition? (I do too). Or sympathy for her being searched? (I don't have any for her, she has more places to hide something).

If we give wheelchairs a free pass, terrorists will abandon planes for wheelchairs before you can say ACLU.

I guess Security didn't get the memo that declared the handicapped to be a protected class.

My only thought is they should have, or create,a special area for their fans who are incapacitated or use a wheelchair for mobility, and have specially trained folks to do the searches in a somewhat private area. I'm all for security, but I'm all for decency and decorum too!Perfect solution.

Sympathy for her condition, yes. I don't care for being searched either, but I think it's a necessary inconvenience.

BS. Give her a back ground check and let her in. How many wheel chair bound individuals are there going to the game? Accomodation shouldn't have to be that hard. One size fits all policies are usually dumb as dirt.
Do you also support feel good secutity and take off your shoes and smile for the TSA idiots?

I would personally rather die in a terrorist attack than live my life like a scared rat begging to be searched at every corner in the futile pursuit of some illusory "security."**************
I've been searched at airports and at concerts. I don't feel at all like a scared rat.

Thank you for the consistent reminders of whom to blame.

"If you don't feel scared, why are you willing to sumbit to the search?"
Why is security illusory? There's a difference between security and stupidity.

It's simply an inconvenience, a part of life since the WOT. Clearly, it's more troubling to you than it is to me.
