One of the countrys most famous anti-war activists is now one of Berkeleys newest residents. Cindy Sheehan, who gained the worlds attention with her protest outside President George W. Bushs ranch in Crawford, Texas, has moved into a Berkeley apartment following her separation from her husband.
I needed a place to stay, and some friends got me an apartment, she said.
Not that Berkeley will see much of the mother who lost her son Casey in the Iraq war in April 2004.
I spend most of my time traveling, and Im home maybe seven to 10 days a month, she said following a Friday press conference in the San Francisco office of Assemblymember Mark Leno. I spend a lot of time in Southern California, and tomorrow Ill be in New York City.
Sheehan offered bitter criticism of the Bush administration, which she described as arrogant.
They think that because they now control all three branches of government, they can do whatever they want, she said. They have imposed a virtual dictatorship for the past five years. It is very ironic that George Bush says hes spreading freedom in Iraq when hes destroying it here at home.?

She needs to keep moving west until she reaches Pamungjong and then stop as that's where she belongs.
Well what do you think she uses to make her coffee table less wobbley....
It's obvious that idiots like Sheehan are too stupid to understand what real fascist dictatorships are like. She would realize very quickly that if she where living in one, by now she'd either be in prison or have been tortured to death. But of course Big Media prints her utterances as if she is the new Moses.
So, the other day Cindy got a new car and now 'some friends' have gotten her an apartment. I wonder if this is how the Veterans for Peace are unloading their ill-gotten Katrina funds. They can list Cindy's apartment as a storage unit for hurricane supplies and her car as a delivery vehicle for hurricane supplies.
We build a wall around the city so no one can get out.
Next, Cindy will tell us that she is a lesbian and always has been.
Panmunjon probably wouldn't suit her. It's a neutral site where the armistice was signed, in the now DMZ. Pyongyang, on the other hand, would probably be her cup of tea. A socialist national capitol, with a ruler who is as big a fruitcake as she is.
I figured Panmunjon as she could hug and kiss those dog's butt ugly NK guards and under their great leader's orders protect her as she hurled insults and the Yankee Imerialist Dogs to the south, all to the delight of the NK guards.
