Police said a sexual predator in Jacksonville was attacked Saturday night by eight men who claimed he tried to grab a 12-year-old child on the street.
Officials said the men confronted John Childers, 46, and beat him with their fists. Police found Childers on the ground in front of the Evergreen Avenue half-way house where he lived and called rescue.
Childers had bruises on his head and face, but was not hospitalized.
Witnesses told police that eight men arrived in a 1993 Lincoln Continental and another vehicle, beat Childers, then left. The witness said the men had come around looking for Childers before.
Childers has been convicted of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 16. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said he had registered as a sex offender at the halfway house address.
This is an amazing site to be able to map out offenders by entering an address.
LOL! I must be a brother to anyone who needs help taking out this kind of trash.
Harm one of mine, and an archaeologist 1000 years from now might find the bones.
We have such a place. It's called a prison. The problem is they don't stay in their community, they end up in mine.
Harm one of mine, and an archaeologist 1000 years from now might find the bones.
No I didn't, thanks!
Sad to say but beating these types does not change their behaviour
They need to be castrated ( if that works) or institutionalized fpr LIFE
God help me, when I look at that picture of Nieves, all I can think is, "I want him dead."
Mat 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and [that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Mat 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
and finally:
Mat 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
The word of the Lord.
It generally does not work. It's their brain that's F'd up, not their hormones or equipment.
You have a realistic take. Some have said Justice will be served, in default of justice being administered by the organized State, the people will pick up the slack. (The sole danger being passion can lead the people to harm the innocent.)
Try this on for size:
"To him who knows the good he ought to do and does not do it, to him it is sin."
Protecting the young by jackin' up a would-be perp is a good thing, and I'll be among the last to sin by failing to do it.
Ma'am, IMHO, your Father let you down listening to your Momma. Your family has "unfinished business" in town. More immediately to your own personal safety, it sounds like you need to make sure you can fend adequately for yourself, and next time you reach under your front seat, there'd best NOT be an umbrella under there.
YO-YO -- You're On Your Own
Interesting interpretation, but I like it!
"passion can lead the people to harm the innocent"
I totally agree .. that is a very real danger.
But .. what I see that happening today is because the liberals have distroted the criminal justice system to where there is very little justice for some of the most heinous crimes. I think Americans are fed up with these perps being allowed to roam free on the streets to victimize our children and other family members.
I don't agree with O'Reilly on many things, but his latest effort to get each state to adopt Jessica's law is very noble. And .. it's getting a lot of resistance. One judge recently sentenced a guy to 5 years probation for molesting 11 children. So, I can see why people are starting to take matters into their own hands.
I'm not saying I think that's a good thing .. it's just that I can understand why it's happening.
My sympathy is all it should be(chortle).
Justice. If the law won't take care of it it's just-us.
Agreed.
So do I.
Woolly Swamp, as I recall.
