Police said a sexual predator in Jacksonville was attacked Saturday night by eight men who claimed he tried to grab a 12-year-old child on the street.
Officials said the men confronted John Childers, 46, and beat him with their fists. Police found Childers on the ground in front of the Evergreen Avenue half-way house where he lived and called rescue.
Childers had bruises on his head and face, but was not hospitalized.
Witnesses told police that eight men arrived in a 1993 Lincoln Continental and another vehicle, beat Childers, then left. The witness said the men had come around looking for Childers before.
Childers has been convicted of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 16. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said he had registered as a sex offender at the halfway house address.
Hit him again. Keep on until he no longer needs a hospitol, but a mortuary.

Mine too. Earlier, I posted this and later saw the pictures of portions of the dad who fought off the perp (he didn't want his face shown to protect his sons privacy) but the dads hands and feet were torn up from "subduing" the perp til the cops arrived.
I also enjoyed this one... where the perp was hit so many times with an aluminum bat that his body was unidentifiable.
It does brighten my day too!

Why oh Why is this creep out on the street in the first place. Why is it that they wait for these creeps to actually kill a child before they put him away for life??? If a child is killed by someone allowed back out on the street after this type of behavior, then the judge who released him should be put in jail along with him.

You can almost bet on it. These guys should be put in the middle of nowhere without a means of transportation. Then we could rest a little easier!

The court system demonstrates its inability to conduct a fair trial or inflict reasonable punishment on an hourly basis.
Legal justice was nowhere to be seen when it came to keeping this known child molestor from offending again, vigilante justice isn't perfect but a bruised pervert is better than another victimized 12 year old.

Brady backers are handing out leaflets in Florida Airports..
The leaflets begin with the words "An Important Notice to Florida Visitors" in bold red type by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
"Do not argue unnecessarily with local people," it says. "If someone appears to be angry with you, maintain to the best of your ability a positive attitude, and do not shout or make threatening gestures."
Florida's "stand your ground" law, which took effect Saturday, means that people no longer must attempt to retreat or defuse a threatening situation before using violence in order to later claim they were acting in self-defence. People already had that right in their homes, but the law now allows them to meet "force with force" in any place they have a legal right to be.
Bottom line, if my kid's in peril, I'm not waiting for the cops, I am grabing my bat, my station wagon and anything else I need to end the threat-with or without the law "permitting" me to do so...

I have zero sympathy for molestors..
Fact is this is America and we do give these criminals a trial. The problem is we dont string them up.We give them 60 days, register them ,and send them back to the neighborhood.
I am never comfortable with vigilante activity even when it results in the punishment of such inhumane bottom dwellers like this waste of oxygen.
If you cheer for it when it happens to someone you hate...don't be surprised if it happens to someone you love.

Old fashioned way of taking care of a neighborhood problem.
I remember when I was a kid back in the mid 50's.
We had a dink like this in our neighborhood.
Daddy and a bunch other adult men had a "talking to" with the perv one evening.
Beat him within an inch of his life, then they told him to either get the hell out of town or select his burial plot.
Never saw him again...
Course they handled things different back then.
