Considering what the EU has already done to abrogate the preexisting laws of member nations, oftentimes in the name of 'human rights', I'm wondering on what basis Brussels could possibly refuse a demand like this? They have already set so very much precedent, I am not seeing what they would base a refusal upon.

Camille Cabral, representing French sex workers and wearing pink stickers reading "Sluts Unite" and "Whore Power", said it was time to end the stigma associated with the sex industry.Satan must be proud!

If they recognise it as work, they ought to drown it in EU regulations, which will kill the entire industry.
Problem solved.

Replace "sex worker" with the actual term, "whore", and see how receptive the EU countries are.

"Sex worker"? Gee. Nice euphemism.
How about "Horizontal bopper" or "Sore knee serf"?
Ugh.

I suppose it does take some long, hard work to be a sexworker, but I would like to see their compensation stripped of benefits anyway.

Hey, the EU was supposed to remove all trade barriers within the member states, so it's not surprising the hookers would be lobbying for no barriers to the state of the member.

I predict prostitution will be around long after science renders childbirth/procreation obsolete.
The "oldest" profession will also be the last profession.
