Here's the thing. I'm sure you've heard about Christians who believe in pushing for things they hope will bring on "the end times". Awhile ago, some believed our President was one of those people. Heck, some prolly still believe it. Would it be appropriate for the world to act solely on their beliefs about his beliefs?

I wonder if the Iranian leaders recognize that anything they do is tyrannical or oppressive, so trying to spread it would kinda be contradictory to their supposed beliefs.

Bottom line, while it's good to try to understand what motivates others, even if it's way off of the wall, nuttier than a fruitcake, gonzo bonkers, it's far more important to stake your response to them to what they do.
