Gay chic may be fashionable in some schools, but from what I see in the high schools Gay means Loser. Big time.
The kids use "gay" as an insult. The kids involved in the "gay rights" groups in the schools are the misfits and messes. Everyone in the school knows it and knows that they can use "gay" to bully others.
Correction:
Everyone in the school knows it and knows that the misfits can use "gay" issues to bully others and make demands. So regular kids steer clear.
