The 'Holy' Catholic Church and Roman Catholic Church are not the same; and I am not a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Sorry, when I google "Holy Catholic Church" the results link to the Holy See. And, I´m also not a member of the Catholic Church, but the point is, that even that body, which has opposed science for centuries, has acknowledged truths. And one truth is, that man evolved from the ape. Another is, that the earth is at least 4 billion years old. Face it or deny it. But in the latter case, don´t expect me to take you serious.
