The socialist protesters NEEDED the national socialists (nazi) protesters.

Without neo-nazis, their own extremism is distasteful to many Americans and they may not be permitted to organize on college campuses to recruit followers, let alone march in the streets.

These are the same types who rioted at the RNC convention in NYC, the WTO meetings, the G8 Summits, and even at "antiwar" rallies.

The gangs were pawns.

The LA Times had a reporter who tried to whip up a crowd into a riot once. She was in Florida covering the Elian story and threw some rocks at the cops. She got arrested but the Cuban Floridians did not respond in kind. I think she later snuck inside that church that radical muslims took hostages in a few years ago.

Louis Farrakhan preaches hate. The ADL denounced the latest MMM rally.

Denouncing Farrakhan does not make FReepers "nazis".

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have made antisemitic remarks in the past too (Hymietown, "Jew them down"...).

The march had been called off because of the crowds, and the white supremacists had left.

I wonder what part of this ABC and the MSM didn't quite grasp?

just a guess, but I'm thinking what janetjanet998 meant by "us" was white people.. I don't want to speak for her, but I think her point was that it wouldn't be justified in the media if 600 white kids terrorized their neighborhood because the Nation of Islam had a rally. (which, by the way, the Nazis didn't even have their rally, it was canceled when the looting and rioting started before the rally)

I made a comparison before... I consider abortion murder. Therefore when a pro-abortion rally comes around, I consider them supporting the mass extermination of hundreds of millions of babies over the years. Much worse than a backwoods bunch of idiot wannabe KKKers. But I haven't called up all the white people 16-25 that I know and gathered in mass to burn down Planned Parenthood or flip over cars, or throw bricks and rocks at police and ambulances.

From watching Fox news it appears to me that it wasn't the white supremacists who were the rioters.

You do realize that only little kids say stuff like that...

And other forbidden things like "The Emperor has no clothes!"

There were antiwar protests that resulted in the same chaos. Didn't make national news though.

It was only a "few" rowdy "individuals" who got out of hand.

Of course when a few guards do that it impunes the entire US military.

Who are the do-gooders? Certainly not the protesters on any side of this.

The do-gooders are all the "writers" who have presented us stories of what happened, but would wet their pants before writing the obvious: the rioters were all "black"; and certainly not beautiful.

Contrast that with the endless mention of the word "neonazis" (who weren't even there), and the many imaginative adjectives attached to the word.

Those are the do-gooders.

I'm not so sure that all of the rock throwers were black. There WERE white socialists marching with the gangs.

They were among the "anti- white supremicists" who marched/rioted.
