"The only other time so many storms have formed since record-keeping began 154 years ago was in 1933."

It was that damned Global Warming back then!

If it causes a flood we better keep an eye out for reporters faking it...

"I still have all the supplies from the previous storms this season, basically a lot of peanut M&M's, so I am ready just in case," she said.

I knew there was something important was missing from my stocks of flour, sugar, powdered milk and batteries.

I had to laugh when I read this. I thought I was the only one that had peanut M&M's on their hurricane supply list.

Peanut M&M's may be nature's most perfect food, if not, Moon Pies have to be considered.

Oh yeah, Moonpies!
My Mom had her grandkids convinced they were called 'Grandma Pies.'
For salty snacks...Shoestring Potatoes.

Stock up now, and if Wilma goes elsewhere, just give them to the trick-or-treaters!

A friend used to be plant manager for RC Cola here. I've had my share of RC's!

When I was a kid we didn't have sippy cups. Instead we poked a hole in the cap of sodas with an ice pick. No spills.

And did you ever make badges for your shirt out of bottle caps? That was when they used cork inside the caps.

Why is it these hurricane threads always contain chatting about food? LOL!

Are you kidding?
They get plain M&M's.
I don't readily share my M&M Peanuts!
