My mother-in-law is exactly the same way. She "just doesn't trust" Bush. Yet she had no problem with John Kerry. She's a fine woman, with traditional values, yet cannot see how the Dimmicrats undercut everything she stands for. I don't understand it myself.
Even when the MSM was the only media there was, I could see the bias, and despaired. Rush was like manna from heaven for me. It was the first time I really realized there were large numbers of people who thought as I did out there.

Just don't give up on her, if she has the same values as you and I, she might " SEE THE LIGHT ".
It will take the right information, or person to help her see the light.
If she is a Christian, and knows the Bible, maybe you can show her how the ACLU, Liberals, Gays are against the BIBLE, and show her HOW the Democrats have, and WILL undercut everything that she believes in ( I know, my mom is the same way ( FDR DEMOCRAT GENERATION ).

It seems to me that about 37% of the population are pretty hard core democrats and would support and vote for Joseph Stalin if he had a (D) behind his name.
