Earlier this year, another group of scientists calculated a 20 to 70 percent probability that Southern California will be hit by a large earthquake in the next 30 years. 20 - 70 % = 50 % .. they are giving 50/50 odds that a 7+ earthquake will hit SoCal in the next 30 years. I say at least 2 of them will hit in the next 25 years. Where's my bookie??

Odds are 2 to 7 on a quake hitting CA, but 100 to 1 on looting and rioting ensueing in unaffected cities within 500 miles following said earthquake.
