(oh, he also said his belief was that Melchizedek was a "type" of Christ, but that the preincarnate Christ Himself appeared only for brief periods and to certain people; not long enough to be known as King of Anything, or have an earthly kingdom. Interesting...)
More proof that the bible is accurate, historical documentation.
I heard a pastor via radio speak on the of Abraham and Melchizedek. He posed the question why would Abraham, a man favored by God, give homage and 10% of his assets to Melchizedek if the latter weren't a preincarnate Christ. Further, there's a verse in the NT that refers to Christ being of the same order as Melchizedek. I personally don't know but if you're going to give 10% of your assets to someone, especially in ancient times, I would suspect that he/she would be someone far from ordinary.
