"I had a conversion experience on the climate issue not unlike my conversion to Christ," Richard Cizik, vice president for governmental affairs at the National Association of Evangelicals,

Well, at least he admits to one thing in a backhanded way. Both conversions are based on faith.

Micheal Crichton has a great speech on this very subject on his website

The left has made "smoke and mirror" arguments into a fine science.

I imagine if someone is destroying a piece of the Earth for personal profit, he's more than likely breaking one or more of the Ten Commandments and will be dealt with on those "violations."

Micheal Crichton's book "State of Fear" was excellent.

Enviromentalism was created by Commies to destroy Capitalism. That is a fact.

Micheal Crichton's book "State of Fear" was excellent.

I gave my copy to my son's fiancee, a politically clueless, but very sweet person. She used to get mad when I mocked the environmental mental midgets who actually buy into their pablum

She no longer defends them. She is being turned slowly

His speech on his website on this subject is excellent.

it is truly revealing to study the original doctrines of communists. you are very correct, environmentalism was indeed one of their spearheads. since you seem to know about this, i wont bore you with any other spearheads they created to harm basically the usa. actually, just listen to one of hillarys speeches and you have the whole communist enchilada right there in good english.

People who think they can control or even influence the climate are displaying human arrogance, a lot like a flea thinking about attacking an elephant. Maybe science is today's Tower of Babel.

Global warming is pork for scientists. Now I see the Evangelicals are trying to milk it also.

"Shouldn't they be more concerned for men's souls?"

They should. This is one more example of the "red herring"; distraction from real issues by false issues.

Another Freeper's intelligence can never bore me. Feel free to discuss it more. I just stated the simple fact but you stated the fact more eloquently. God bless.

Hey Good Morning!

Ban the sun.

How's Alpha Centori doing? Maybe we could head over there.

Good morning to you, neighbor.

Just out of curiousity, google "mass of the solar system," and you will discover stuff like this:

Solar System Open this result in new window

... It ( the Sun ) contains more than 99.8% of the total mass of the Solar System (Jupiter contains most of the rest). ...

That's right, all the rest of the mass of the solar system- us, inner planets, gas giants that are almost big enough to be stars, the asteroid belt, the cosmic dust- is .2%

That tells me the Sun is the master controller... as I suspected nearly 40 years ago upon learning this obscure but telling fact.

Yes we are stewards of our God-given environment. Yes there is global warming. But global warming is the result of the Sun being hotter at this time, and nothing else. Just as Mars is experiencing global warming, so is the Earth. What do they have in common? Ans. the Sun.

We may very well be on the edge of a new ice age. This nonsense about green house gases is nothing more than paganism and liberal self guilt. Why sacrifice maidens to the earth god when developed nations can sacrifice their economies? Fools all!

The only time leftists mention God or the Bible is to advance their socialist/Marxist agenda.

This may be an interpretation that adds or deletes from the meaning of the Book of Revelation. Here are several verses preceding and one after the quotation from the Bible.

I'd agree, that take on the verse certainly does not look right in context. "Those that destroy the earth" seems to be talking about the forces of evil in the world as a whole.

Makes me want to go out and buy an suv.

I'd drive a tank if they'd let me.
