Hopefully many of the dead were the ones planning operations against US interests...?

That is a large amount....plus the Pakis and muslims will be sending their donations to the disaster relief, and not the terror fund for a while.

Maybe Allah had second thoughts about sending Katrina to New Orleans?

1. I thought India was in control of Kashmir
2. I thought women and children were the majority of the dead.. I suspect this story is optimistic.

Q: What do you call 1,500 dead hard-core jihadis?
A: A good start.

Well, Rove's earthquake machine has proved effective, but not very discriminate.
Just work out that kink and we're good to go, boy-genius!

Kashmir is split into two parts - one part controlled by India and the other by Pakistan - and the two nations have already fought two wars over this territory.
It was the portion controlled by Pakistan that suffered the greatest damage and deaths (25,000 and still counting).
On India's side the death rate is around 1,500
Certainly the press is playing up the true aspects of women and children being killed - but as the article alludes, communications intercepts point to a number of the terrorist bases in the high mountains / caves having been wiped out.

The whole image is wonderful.
A bunch of jihadis sitting deep in their bomb-proof hidden lair, confident that they are safe, when the whole mountain falls down on on them.
It's sort of like Wile E. Coyote (Super Genius) looking both ways before crossing the street, just as an anvil drops on his head.
