This is exactly the way a good wife should be.

The thread started as a mini-humor break from the heavier stuff, but it does stop & make you think about having to send both parents out to earn a decent living today.

For a while anyway, our parents had it pretty good. Less stress, roles were more clearly defined AND THE APPLE PIE WAS BETTER!

Actually, my comment about the article was really tongue in cheek, because the it is way over the top though hilariously funny. Someone had posted it within a thread a few weeks ago and we had such fun with it. But on a serious note, suggesting to women they shouldn't question their husbands after they've been out all night, would be to leave women open to all manner of marital abuses.

You say it succinctly but well capture the argument for stay-at-home mothers and wives. Don't run for the hills, lol, many of us very much agree with you.
