This is a better option than asking for "direct funding." The idiots in the Church who call for direct public money don't seem to realize that once you accept such money, it comes with strings attached.

I think vouchers would be better but credits would be an EXTREME boon for low income families who want to send their kids to Catholic school.
I wish I knew where to get a post card, I attended a Catholic school in the Albany dioses and it was a tremendous burden for my parents.

too little too late, for yrs. the rcc has done nothing to help get pro life, pro voucher candidates elected.
they had a good chance in NJ in 01 to get schundler elected and did NOTHING!! the sleaze won
a yr. later the nj cath. conf. enacted this HUGE school choice petition drive enlisting the help of the K of C to get signatures after mass for a couple of weekends. Big deal, they got the signatures and a democrat governor, senate pres. and assembly speaker all beholden to the teachers' union.
In the 04 presidential election only ONE Catholic Conference, Penn. had a voters' guide.
the USCCB does nothing. they are worth nothing.
