Biggest risk in turning over wasn't drowning, but maybe breaking her nose.
Really, should NBC trust a blonde Kosinki alone in a canoe in water over her highheels?
I don't think so....;-)
Thanks for the links. Seems that the story has been bouncing all over the blogosphere! It's been a fun ride today.
I don't know why Rush didn't credit you or or your site. He was reading verbatim. (He was caught off guard with some
inaccurate info on Bono and some NOLA info. Maybe he's gun shy. Whatever.) Great reporting! and so much fun to see the Today Show exposed as 'staged' news. Thanks!
Thanks, evets. Yes, it was disappointing not to be credited. To his credit, in the past Rush has at least twice made general mention of the NewsBusters site, but it would have been great to get direct credit from him today, particularly since he read verbatim from my piece.
Thank you for doing the viewing (Today Show--yick) that I wont do. There should be a freeper medal for you and the others that venture to bring us news from the beast.
bttt lol
You are so welcome! The pleasure is truly mine.
I've had a few messages from people letting me know they shared the story and the video with friends and family. I can't tell you what a kick it is to imagine people across the country getting a chuckle out of something I've done!
LOL, no that's a photo from the movie "Anchorman". Christina Applegate in front, Will Farrell on the right. It IS close to reality, I'll give you that!
Ping!
=^)
I guess I am a little too sheltered. I don't watch much TV any more.
Becki
Don't make me come over there and lob a scimitar at you....
I am still laughing. Only a media person would go up Shit's creek WITH a paddle.
Hey, have you ever tried to control a canoe in three inches of water? I bet it's pretty hard!
