email from John Kerry campaign:
Dear Stuck on Stupid,
Now more than ever, we need leaders we can count on. We need men and women who will stand up for what they believe in and who will lead with their principles.
2005 is a critical election year in Virginia. In less than a month, you can go to the polls to elect new leaders up and down the ballot from Governor to House of Delegates.
The challenge is pretty simple - and very real: to create change, we must elect more Democrats at every level of government.
Thanks to the leadership of people like my friend Delegate Brian Moran - the Virginia House Democratic Caucus Chair -- we have a real opportunity to elect more Democrats in the House of Delegates on November 8th but we need your help to do it. On Monday October 17th at the Arlington Arts Center on Wilson Boulevard, Brian and I will gather with Democrats from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm to help raise funds from the grassroots to win more Democratic seats in the Virginia House of Delegates.

Please stop by on your way home from work or school. Come over after you feed the kids. Your $35 donation on Monday night could help us get to 41 Democratic seats in the House of Delegates come Election Day on this November 8th. We want to use this opportunity to recruit as many Virginia Democrats as we can get for the election.

I know what incredible things Virginia Democrats can do when you join together at the grassroots level. I saw it throughout the 2004 campaign, when you knocked on doors, picked up the phones, passed the hat, and took to the road to win Fairfax County for our Democratic ticket in the general election for the first time in forty years. Now we need to do the same thing across the state in 2005.
Please join me this Monday night at the Arlington Arts Center on Wilson Boulevard to support Democrats running in critical Virginia races. Sign up now.

If you can't join us on Monday, please consider supporting Virginia Democrats in other ways. From the Governor's race to the House of Delegates, there are vital contests up and the down the ticket. You will be hearing more from us in coming days as to how you can help.
Brian Moran and Democrats in Richmond need our help to build a strong grassroots organization to get out the vote on Election Day, just a little more than three weeks away.
I intend to be there for them -- and I know they can count on you to do the same.
Let's give them the immediate grassroots support they so urgently need.
Sincerely,
John Kerry
P.S. After you sign up to come to the Arlington Arts Center on Monday night, please pass this message on to friends and colleagues at work and in your neighborhood. We need to involve as many folks as possible in this campaign. Then, in less than a month, we'll celebrate an important victory together.
Thought it might have been Arlington, Mass. Hardly ever see him in his home state except during wind-surfing season on Nantucket.
Is Kerry's letter really addressed to "Stuck on Stupid"?
Edited from Initial Version: All this in spite of the fact that I wrote Virginia off in October and pulled all my campaign advertising. Thanks to you, my sorry @$$ lost Virginia by 8 points.
If we could count on the RATS to be as effective in 2005 as they were in 2004, we could all go home and take a nap.
That said take nothing for granted!
I think we can take that for granted.
LOL! My post #7
HA!
Jim Moran (D-VA) is one of the most crooked policitians ever to hold a seat in VA. Figures Kerry would be meeting with him.
You're correct about Jim Moran. But Kerry is meeting with his son Delegate Brian Moran. No doubt a chip off the old blockhead.
Not really, but I had to change my real name to something else and I figured Rush's term STUCK ON STUPID was a good as anything....to describe a person who would support Kerry.
And maybe some good FReeper could place these words on Flipper's sign for me:
'Today is Day 312 since Kerry vowed to release his 1972 'Other than Honorable Conditions' Navy Discharge'
