Code Pink was again out-manned, out-gunned and out-generaled, Aquakat.
The splendid weather only managed to bring out between 15-20 Code Pink-Os. Many of whom were bused in on the Veterans for Peace bus for the "Million More" Rally this weekend.
Opposite 25-30 FReepers with the MOAB up and signs aplenty.
Many, many more honks from traffic for our side against theirs. It was a tryly pathetic display by the Pink-os. Even when a BBC "Documentary" crew spent about twice as much time with them. Though we did make the Pink-Os feel very welcome by shouting chants and generally ridiculing them with questions about their affliliations and where exactly their money goes.
Their Peace Bus became stuck trying to make a right turn onto Elder Steet from an intersecting residential street. Several FReepers enjoyed the opportunity for a good laugh while helping to Marshall their bus out from parked traffic.
Most of the Pink-Os pulled up stakes before the bus bringing recovering soldiers back to Walter Reed from their "Friday Night Out" at Frank O'Brien's Steah House at 16th & K Streets.
When the bus rolled up to the entrance to WRAMC the Freepers appaluded and cheered loudly. While silhouettes inside the bus's driver side (Facing the Pink-Os) could be seen given them the One Finger Salute. The soldiers and families facing the FReepers clapped and waved.
A fine night of fun was enjoyed by all attending FReepers.
Jack.
Thanks for the mini report, Jack. Sorry I couldn't be there with you this week.
Well Done BZ's and OUT-F'nSTANDING
As usual, sans the out-manned. Good work to all, too bad you couldnt eradicate the vermin

ROFLMPO
I would probably helped also, however, why do we do things like that? They do not deserve any consideration what so ever. Caveat; some on the bus are vets, however misguided they may be, but still vets.

The payoff of the night, this is an important part of what it is all about.
Thanks for the report and more important thanks for being there.
I guess they couldn't get LoueiLoui, who is in town tonight, to support their effort.
