Any Viking involved in what supposedly happened on that boat, and any Viking who wasn't involved but didn't try to stop what was happening, should be booted from the active roster.
Still pay them, if that's what is needed to satisfy union requirements. But under no circumstances allow them on the field to represent the Minnesota Vikings.

"Coach Mike Tice said he was operating under the assumption that all his current players would be available to him for Sunday's game.
"I have to until I'm notified by somebody," he said."
In other words, IF GUILTY, highly paid athletes get away with what us great unwashed would already be in jail for, as long as they get on the field and win..

Does anybody else find it ironic that a Viking would be having trouble with a boating incident?

What the heck supposedly happened on what boat when? I didn't even see a link in the article referring back to whatever alleged incident the author was talking about.

A supposed outdoor orgy on the boats involving strippers, sex for pay and crew members who were supposedly propositioned..the cruise was supposed to last 3 hours, they were back in port within 1 hour..

Tice isn't the last say. the players have a union that tells them what they can and can't do as well. I for one, hope this crucifies any idea of building them a stadium once and for all.
I'm sick of these overpaid jackasses.
this is just more of the same...

Still pay them - something every boss in America should do; if you have legal, adult consenting sex after work hours, you should not be allowed to work, but get paid for the next week.

I stand corrected..intimidated is what was reported..

Same here, sick of all the taunting/celebrating in football too, the thug mentality in basketball drove me away, I'll stick with baseball and hockey....

And I think I'll give up on Baseball after watching the NY Yankers
sleep their way thru the playoffs -I am convinced that they actually preferred to end theseason short so they could hit the beach and spend the too-much money they have.

Love example those professional athletes set. It does seem that pro athletes live by a different standard than the "rest of us". Part may be because of the power and influence that comes with success on the football field (baseball field, court, etc.) as well as with the money.
But maybe I'm expecting too much for those who are in the limelight to at least ATTEMPT to act like the roll model that they are - regardless of if they want that title or not. Kids DO look to the pros as an example - which really scares me. Children raised in a good Christian home are less likely to be influenced - but not every child has that benefit (and that alone isn't enough to prevent all problems).

I wonder how long the line of lawyers at each crewmember's residence is?
Cha-Ching! A payoff(settlement) might be in order that the wife or gf won't hear ALL the details.
To: Moral Hazard
I'm sure if it had been your daughter that was trapped behind a bar by five large football players while they performed oral sex ON the bar on a "stripper" and then asked the daughter if she was going to dance for them too you'd have the same attitude.
It's just sex after all.
I think I heard several Clinton apologists make the same point.
