I wouldn't wish this on anyone. My heart goes out to him and his family. He will now have an understanding of the Goldman's loss. I believe he and the other attorneys knew OJ was guilty and let him get away with murder. He will now see what it is like to walk in the shoes of a parent who tragically lose a son at a young age. May God comfort them in their loss as well.

"and the coroner's office said he had tested positive for amphetamines. "

He probably had a fit, and then his heart just quit... :)

Prayers for the young man and his family. With Johnny Cochran's death, and the death of O.J.'s friend who was by his side (with the white streak in his hair...can't remember his name), bad Karma in action.

He rolled the dice and lost. How many of us survived the stupid choices of our teens and 20's is a mystery.

Condolences to the family.

A brother of a close friend died the same way about twenty years ago. To this day, I don't think his mom ever fully recovered

No parent should ever have to know the pain of burying one of their children.

The Shapiros have my deepest heartfelt sympathy.

Look at what's happened in the past 10 years...

F. Lee Baily - DEAD
Robert Kardashian - DEAD
Johnny Cochran - DEAD
now this...

But OJ celebrates 10 years free...they're all paying for their complicity.

May he rest in peace. I have my severe problems with how the Simpson case turned out, but none of that is Brent Shapiro's fault.

"It's being considered an accidental death," he said.

The Son has had a very troubled past, it was not an accident the road he took has only one end.

Condolences to the Family.

Sad.....prayers for Mr. Shapiro and his family. Amphetamines or not, he was their child, their son and this must be the most devestating thing to have ever happened to them. May God give them comfort.

An official ruling on cause of death will be made after toxicology results come back in eight to 10 weeks, Smith said.

On CSI, the tests come back in what looks like 8 to 10 seconds. No wonder juries are having a hard time dealing with real police procedure and evidence; TV shows make it all look lightning fast and infallible.
