Unfortunately, this message is not being conveyed from father to son on a 1:1 basis, but being written in a column that will not be read by the people who really need to see it.
This was all conveyed directly to me by my dad as we were backpacking in the woods, fishing, and spending time together.

Marry the woman. I would add one in there before that one that says something like:
Pick a better woman
(i.e. one that isn't so easy to make a baby out of weblock with--that one cuts both ways, you know)
