Hey, folks! Before we all drink the Kool-Aid being prepared by the liberals, let's understand what was actually said here. I think is some cases, it could very well be that sexism is a reason for criticizing Harriet Miers' nomination.

On the other hand, maybe some of us just want some information first, before we decide whether we support her or not.

I can't believe the WH is treating conservatives who have real and legitimate questions concerning his nominee in this manner. I worked hard for this President in two elections, and now they are slinging mud at anyone who questions them from the right. How depressing!

Sexism, what a pants load. Conservatives wanted the choice to be from A-list judges -- Sam Alito, Janice Rogers Brown, Priscilla Owen, Michael Luttig, and Michael McConnell, to name a few.

That list has almost 50% women and all have better credentials than Ms Miers.

No, it's not. It's about whether Miers will rule as an originalist, not a conservative. Yes, there is a difference between the two: a conservative would jump at the first chance a case presented to ban abortion, while an originalist would refer said issue to the states.

I disagree. Most conservatives view it as a states rights issue first, but would work to restrict abortions at the state level.
