Even after 5 years as a registered member, and a year or two lurking before that, I still remain impressed at the ability of FReeperdom to boil down a story to its essence in the first two or three posts to a thread. Your post is a great example of this.

I have a s-i-l who thinks the same way. She was disgusted that her former town was "so white" and was happy that they were moving to a city down south and that it would be more diverse. They hate it down there but I don't think she's made the connection. I just can't believe someone would move to a city just to expose their kids to diversity. I hope she's happy with the experiences her kids are recieving.
