Eric Trekell, the director of the campus center, referred to this kind of expression as "gender fluidity." He believes that the way society reacts to people who don't conform to gender expectations will be the next public debate after gay marriage.

And as soon as that one is settled, we'll be able to move on to "sex with elephants."

"For Gawd sakes, she's 24 years old , and she's still in college?"

I was 22 before I started college, because I had to save up money to go. These days, if you are under 24 years old, you are still considered "dependent" on your parents for financial aid purposes, and must produce their tax returns to get student loans. If the parents refuse, as mine did, you have to wait and save the money for your first year, because the financial aid office considers the money that you earn to pay for keeping a roof over your head and food in your belly to be income that should go toward paying your college expenses the next year. So you have to save up enough to cover your expenses the first year.

Not complaining, just explaining.

'I express myself how I want, whenever I want.'"

The people who laugh and taunt and ridicule them for prancing around in drag are also expressing themselves how they want to. I sure hope these young "men" and "women" are just as tolerant of those people when they express their disgust.

LOL! If I had to hypothesize what these she-males looked like, I'd bet it IS sex with elephants

This article reminds me of 'The New Gay Teenager' from May of this year.

Yet another reason to homeschool... or pull your children from public schools.

Bray, 24, is one of the growing number of young people who express non-traditional gender identities, exploring and challenging the social categories of male and female, manifesting aspects of both without transitioning from one gender to the other.

What would they say if some weekend I and a group of my friends visited an urban neighborhood and tried to experiment in "race-bending" by donning an afro wig, putting on black face, and started talking like a hip-hop artist to express non-traditional racial identities. Would I be thought of as a progressive who was simply "exploring and challenging the social categories of black and white, manifesting aspects of both without transitioning from one race to the other."

BTW. I just took a head count and there are now 165 H/A pinglisters. Wonder how many are still active FReepers? Some of the senior members rarely if ever chime in with a comment.

Bet you a doughnut she still lives in her liberal Madison parents' basement, LOL!

Not only in a basement, but with her head encased in a rose-colored bubble and nose stuck in "Boi & Grrl" fantasy rags.

(I'm still here. And hanging on. Everyone needs a a break from this once in a while. It gets tiring fighting the same old battles time and time again. But we can't quit. Got to keep the truth out there. So I'd recommend keeping everyone on th elist. They may come back when they are refreshed)

He said there is "clear and incontrovertible" evidence that biology - genes, hormones, and the brain - is a major factor in creating a wide range of gender identities and sexual orientations.

This statement is almost true. There is clear and incontrovertible evidence that biology is the only factor in creating two sexes. Biology determines if you are male (XY) or female (XX) anything else is a birth defect. Any other 'orientation' other than male to female and female to male is a mental illness.

Why can't we just commit these poor damaged people until they are well?

I can relate to that!

I was just curious, I ran a search on a few of the names that I've never seen them post a comment and according to their user posts page some of them haven't posted in years.

Nobody will be taken off of the ping list unless they request to be removed from the list themselves.

Homosexual Agenda Ping.

It's a world gone mad. These people (and I use the term loosely) are psychotic. The problem is that young people are easily influenced, and when assaulted by the media, schools and other people with sick propaganda, some will try it themselves. What you do, see, read and hear affects the mind. Actions have reactions.

Note this lie:

"Gender-fluid and transgender individuals are often assaulted or even killed because of their appearance, Gutknecht said, by people who don't accept their lifestyle."

They like that lie since it fuels "hate crimes" laws, soon to morph into "hate speech" laws.

Freepmail me and DirtyHarryY2K if you want on/off this pinglist.
