If Bill Clinton appointed a personal White House aide to be a Supreme Court justice, we'd be against it. I am against cronyism regardless of party. There are more qualified individuals to serve on our nation's highest court.

Bill Clinton could appoint a dogcatcher and I'd root for the dogs.
Dubya has my confidence and I have admired most if not all his appointments.

Speak for yourself. I might harumph at such a nomination by Bill Clinton, but I would not dismiss the person based on his/her association with Bill Clinton. I would at least wait for Senate hearings before determining whether or not the person is qualified.

If Bill Clinton appointed a personal White House aide to be a Supreme Court justice, we'd be against it. Hogwash. We'd be against any Clinton appointee simply because it was a Clinton appointee. As to the specific person nominated, that's one of the perks of winning the freaking election.

Please define "qualified", with appropriate constitutional references.
