Stanley, the Volkswagen Touareg that won a $2 million desert road race all on its own in a sense bears a logo that plays off its manufacturers slogan.

The robotic SUV finished first in a 132-mile trek across the rugged and twisting Nevada desert, in what may be an early step toward getting vehicles to do their own driving for everything from war-zone supply missions to morning commutes.

Good to see so many of were back this year with the upgrades needed to complete the course.
I was disappointed that this event was not on K band satellite as it was last year.

I noticed coverage of this event was very low compared to last time.
Last year, no car made even 10% of the course, as I recall. So this finish is amazing.
