I think that's a vain hope. The Leftist agenda requires research on fetal stem cells. Never mind that most successful stem cell research has been done with cord blood or adult stem cells (from fat or bone marrow).

It is a ridiculous thought to think that nobody will oppose this option. Stem cell research will always be an issue, especially when politicians are opposing issues they are lacking information on. Much research can and is being done using other options besides aborted babies, yet this seemed to be one of Bush's concerns. It seems hard to believe that stem cell research will ever be accepted by all.

- You can bet that activists like Michael J. Fox will pay no attention to this news. They're too used to regularly plunking their butts down before various Congressional Committees to whine about Bush and how his stem cell policy has denied hope to millions.
